GECSA actively participates in the development of new technologies and knowledge creation. We work with customers, technology centres and other stakeholders on highly significant innovation and product improvement projects. We participate in the HY2DEC Project
The cooperative business R&D project entitled “Research into new technologies for the production and use of green hydrogen for the decarbonisation of intensive Spanish industry”, with the acronym “HY2DEC”, has been subsidised by the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) and supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation within the 2022 call of the Science and Innovation Missions programme.
The main objective of the project is to research, develop and validate new emerging technologies for the production and use of hydrogen and green oxygen, as well as the capture of CO2 and its integration in processes of the Spanish intensive industry with the aim of advancing in its decarbonisation.
